I am in shock.

I can't believe it.

Danielle just told me that Mrs. Akers died last night of cancer.

I had no idea that she even had cancer.. or was in danger of dying.

She was my favorite English teacher. Creative, kind, funny, loving, caring, patient.. the list goes on and on. This is not one of those cases where people hate the teacher in life and then try to make up for it when they die. That's harsh and cruel. Mrs. Akers was an amazing teacher and an amazing person. Sometimes I would walk in to school with her in the morning and hold the door for her. She was so excited when I told her my poem might get published. She was always encouraging and helpful. I would miss her.. if I could believe that it was true. Right now I'm still numb, and so cut off from everything.

It's awful. I can't go to the funeral. I learned through Danielle because I wasn't at school to find out. I missed having another semester with her, and now.. I can't do anything about it. I wish I could be there, but I can't.

This is awful.

Well, I saw Brokeback Mountain.
Let me just tell everyone to drop what they are doing and go see it.. right now.
Oh my gosh. What an incredibly amazing movie. that's all I can say. Let go of any stupid prejudices you might have and just go and be swept away. Don't even think, just watch it and maybe you'll come away a better person.

We watched Gone With the Wind last night until really late. Ive been working really hard to get my ipod back in order so i was on for three hours yesterday, in a row.

Oh mannn, I miss Bay View way too much. If you go there, look out for an article in the paper.Well, I don't know if they'll print it. But I'm revising it and sending it to them soon. I have to take some pictures. I just want to be back there, however weird it seems.. like, last spring was just so amazing and, memorable I guess. It wasn't always.. great. But last year was certainly memorable. All the years at BV are kinda blending together.. well ok not sixth grade, considering I don't remember it. But seventh and eighth. Both very memorable years. Cough. But, yet, I still miss it. And that it'll be different when I go back. All the juniors (seniors? eek) will be gone. And Alex won't be there. And those sophomores will be seniors. And I'll be a sophomore. And it's weird. But good. Hope I get let in again ok guys? Cause I want to come back and see everyone :)

I got a new ring today. Rings are my favorite accessories. I'm apparently willing to pay a premium for them. My favorite one was 11 dollars, probably because i bought it at a historical site as a souvenir. Bo.

My Geometric Drawing (MOST pointless class ever) teacher is a bitch. And she grades badly. Stupid. Art History prof. is realllllly pretty bad as well. But it's late guys and if i don't go to bed I won't be up early enough to anticipate Lena's call. Magari we'll go see a movie. Who knows which one. Magari=hopefully. Byebye.

Yesterday i went to FLORENCE.

I didn't take any pictures because of my mom's tight-fisted grip on the camera, she wouldn't let me bring it.. but I'm sure i can describe it to you guys.

We took a 10:20 train and Uncle Matt and Dylan didn't come because Matt's back was hurting him. I slept during the whole train ride and when we got to Florence it was raining and COLD. We took an underpass, which goes right under the street, and there are shops, its cool but Marina and I got into a piccolo fight. Whoops. It was alright though. Then we went out into the rain. We all wanted to go to the restaurant but my aunt wanted to go into Santa Maria Novella so we went in there and saw the cool frescoes. The ceiling was STRIPED. Whee..
